There is a difference between a final goal and a performance goal.  The first is desired, the second is calculated and incremental and provides the pathway to achieve your goal.  Gage your goal against the Truth in the pages of Scripture and follow the 14 steps for a smart, pure and clear direction for your desired outcome.  Only YOU will make your dream come true.

Hebrews 12:2 NIV   Fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.

1 Peter 2:9 ESV   But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

14 STEPS TO A HEALTHY PERFORMANCE GOAL

SMART:   Jeremiah 29:11  ESV   For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

PURE:   1 Timothy 1:5 ESV   The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.

CLEAR:   James 1:27 ESV   Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.
