I want to challenge the people of God to PRAY. Our families need it, our businesses need it, our church needs it and our Nation needs it.
Not since 1929, the Great Depression has our leadership in America had to face the decisions they are up against right now. The recession we are in has had a trickle down effect. That effect is realized in everyone’s wallet. Cut backs are being made throughout our Nation.
As those cutbacks are made, are you adjusting your ‘lifestyle’ to live within the means of your ability? That is called financial stewardship. You are the only ones that can make those personal choices. Doing the right thing always comes with Sacrifice.
Let’s keep our trust in the right thing: Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not to your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your path straight. Proverbs 3:5,6.
Better to follow the advice on the dollar, “IN GOD WE TRUST” than on the value of the paper. “The grass withers, the flowers fade away, but the Word of the Lord, stands forever.”
Everything rises and falls on leadership. On November 4, the United States will again have the privilege to vote for the leader of their country. The best preparation you can do is PRAY. Our God, puts kings and lords in their seats and he removes them as well. He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
As believers in Jesus we are neither Republican nor Democrat, we serve our God first. Our allegience is to Him. Whatever ticket you line up with make sure you put God’s values above a specific party platform value system.
For God so loved the WORLD (Republican and Democrat), that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16.
My HOPE is in the LORD. My confidence is in the LORD. Will you join me in PRAYING for: People you know and love? Our businesses? Our Church? Our Nation?
Why not stop right now and spend some serious time with the one that can make all the difference in the world.
My candidate is not doing well. My retirement finances are not doing well. My job is not doing well. All the stresses that come from times like these what can we do? I will pray. I will vote. I will trust GOD to do what is best for his kingdom. He told me that I am an heir to this kingdom.(Romans 8:17) Wow!
I sure am glad my hope rests in something more than what I can see.
My HOPE is in my LORD!
Jesus is my LORD!
I will pray. I will vote. I will ask God for his guidance in being a good stewart. I will depend on His promises. Consider the lilies of the field… Matt 6:28
I will pray and I will vote, I believe God will help me make the right choice.
