Spiritual Separation seems like an oxymoron.   But it is not!   Sometimes the Lord for His purposes takes two organizations or churches or people in different directions to accomplish His plan for Kingdom effort.   To note:  I am not speaking of the marriage institution.

For whatever reason, be it personality or level of commitment or focus to a strategic plan Paul and John Mark were not to be together for stage 2 of ministry.  So Paul found someone new (Silas) and John Mark went off with Barnabas.

It was all good!   It was all God.   Not division, just separation to better meet the purpose of their assigned calling.   Do you know your calling?   Do you know your purpose in life?   Are you aligning yourself to that mission?

The GOOD NEWS!   Our journey’s lead to the same place, ‘the foot of the cross’ and the throne room of heaven.’  In both places you will find Jesus, front and center!

Acts 15: 37 Barnabas wanted to take John, also called Mark, with them,38 but Paul did not think it wise to take him, because he had deserted them in Pamphylia and had not continued with them in the work.39 They had such a sharp disagreement that they parted company. Barnabas took Mark and sailed for Cyprus,40 but Paul chose Silas and left, commended by the believers to the grace of the Lord.
