John 10 is a chapter where Jesus clearly establishes Himself as God.  At the end of the chapter he declares that He and the Father are ONE!   The early part of the chapter however is a great picture.   Jesus considers himself to be ‘the’ Gateway.  He is ‘the’ Good Shepherd!   If you want to be one of His sheep, then you have to enter through the Gate!   Jesus is the Gate.   He knows his sheep by name.   Does Jesus know your name?  Are you one of His Sheep?   The GATEWAY is open for your entry.   All you have to do is walk through the gate.   There is no entrance fee.   The price is simply accepting God’s free gift of salvation, by grace through faith.   Believing that Jesus really is the Son of God.  Believing that Salvation comes only through the person of the Lord Jesus Christ, and by giving your life to Him.   Are you willing to lay down your life (physical) in order to gain real life?  (spiritual).  There is only ONE GATEWAY and it is through the person of Jesus Christ!

John 10:2 The one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
