It’s time to start thinking through the lessons learned this year and the goals and dreams in store for 2009. In about 13 days I will have read through the Bible. I plan to do it again. It has been life changing for me and I know it will be for you to. Will you read through the Bible with me? It’s not too late. Purchase yours by hitting the link below. Here is the One Year Bible I will be using.
Cell Phones and Bibles
Have you ever wondered: “what would happen if we treated our Bibles like we treat our cell phones?”
What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
What if we flipped through it several time a day?
What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
What if we used it to receive messages from the text?
What if we treated it like we couldn’t live without it?
What if we gave it to kids as gifts?
What if we used it when we traveled?
What if we used it in case of emergency?
Where is your Bible?
Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phones, we don’t have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill.
And no dropped calls!
Great post !
And, what if we used it so that we could always hear from the One we love the most ?
Great questions! I need to ask these of myself and will be asking them of our teens!
BTW…I use the 2 year Bible i like to take more time to chew on the Scripture, i’m a simple guy!
Yep! I Cry Out, and He heard my voice. I love that. God listens to me. He actually longs to hear me. AND…I have so much more to talk with Him about, when I am listening to Him. He has so much to say to me…the Question: Will I listen to Him. Will I be faithful to dig into the book He gave me, to find the answers that will guide me through my journey through life?
Great thoughts. Thank you!
