Dan is simply a man, pursuing a relationship with Jesus. He is a Graduate of Philadelphia Biblical University and earned his Masters at Grace Theological Seminary. Dan served as a Youth Pastor in South Bend, Indiana for 10 years. He was a Christian School Administrator (K-12) for 4 years. He had the privilege of being the founding pastor of an incredible church community called Gateway Church.
Dan now serves as the Executive Director of CPR-3, a mission that Breathes Life and Hope into the World through relief, rehabilitation and development. Danʼs background includes being a first responder to Americaʼs two worst crisis – 9-11 and Hurricane Katrina. Dan was a lead supervisor with the American Red Cross, leading 10 counties and 8 major mass care shelters in Shreveport, Louisiana. CPR-3 is also heavily involved in Haiti since the earthquakes in 2010, having now built 550 homes and shelters, regularly providing clean water through filters and wells and building ʻtraining centersʼ that house the church, schools and skill development in micro-financing and fair trade initiatives.
Dan is happily married to Gay; they have four unbelievable children, Cory, Gabby, Chaim and Josiah. Dan loves to play, coach and referee soccer. He loves to listen to all kinds of music and he loves the theater.
Dan is working on his second book “Outside of Me” and is a published author with his first book on ʼspiritual fitness” called ABS of Faith: Accountability, Bible Reading and Scripture Memorization.
Dan has always bled for the underdog. He grew up in Cleveland….a team that has never won a major championship. He loves that God cares deeply about the “least of these” and He cares about the overlooked. People live in crisis every day. Dan believes the church is the hope of the world. Starting Gateway Church and CPR-3 and BL (Breathe Life) Coaching and Consulting Group, Inc, from scratch he understands leadership, creativity, marketing, systems and structures. He is committed to a balance of biblical and cultural exegesis as well as caring for peopleʼs physical and spiritual needs.
His passion and talent for organizing chaos is born out of a God-given gift and a heart for people who are searching for hope. Dan is also a professional soccer and life coach. He coaches church planters, leaders and is also on the pitch training upcoming soccer players playing for premier soccer clubs. He believes that coaching both the technical and tactical aspects of the game is transferable to business and church leadership.
Danʼs greatest desire is the success of others and to breath life and hope into the world. He hopes to instill in the leaders he works with, a love for God and for community.

How are you doing?? I just became friends with Gay on Facebook and can’t believe how great you guys look and how your kids have grown!! So much time has gone by and it seems like yesterday we were going “cold calling” and having our babies. I am going to order your book…I’m impressed :). Take care and maybe in the future you will have a couple of unexpected visitors on a Sunday morning to hear you preach!!

Well well well..
Famous author now huh? How time flies.
I cannot believe how big the kids are, makes me feel as old as I am. :/
Hope all is well, don’t forget your roots and your spiritual children, remember it was you that lead me to the Lord on March 1, 1990.

Joel, if it advances the kingdom of God, then take it and run with it.
One question? How did you stumble upon my blog?
Have a great day!

It is the area of possibility. Searching and waiting to see what is needed and when is the best time to move. Glad you are doing well.
